Did you know that from 6th July anyone can register unclaimed .uk domains?
Currently, if you own an existing .co.uk domain you automatically have the rights of registration to the .uk version of your domain. As of 6th July, you will no longer have sole right of registration to .uk version of the domain unless you purchase the particular domain.
We know that creating an online presence takes a lot of time and effort. If someone’s else registers your .uk domain, you and your organisation could be at risk of impersonation.
Give the Dog a Bone currently purchase and manage many domains on your behalf. Although the purchase of the .uk domain variant is not compulsory, we would advise that if you are conscious of protecting your domains, business and brand you should consider purchasing the .uk variant before they are made available on the open market.
