This isn\u2019t the place, and it\u2019ll quickly switch readers off<\/li>\n<li>Hire a copywriter who a) doesn\u2019t understand your tone and style, and b) couldn\u2019t care less about what you stand for<\/li>\n<li>Regurgitate content posted on other sites<\/li>\n<li>Write badly: if you\u2019re not a natural writer, there are plenty of sites that can help you<\/li>\n<li>Forget about yo ur audience\/customers: don\u2019t write for yourself, think about what will interest people<\/li>\n<li>Lose direction or focus \u2013 it\u2019s good to have a variety of posts, but readers should know what to expect. Pick a subject and stick to it!<\/li>\n<li>Forget about style and design: try to create your own theme, instead of relying on the most popular designs. Make it look like yours, and in line with your website\u2019s design<\/li>\n<li>Be salesy! People try and directly sell their produc ts, but it doesn\u2019t work. This isn\u2019t the place<\/li>\n<li>Just publish: it\u2019s vital to proofread, re-read, edit!<\/li>\n<li>Outspokenly insult people or businesses: you must be careful! Not only is it unprofessional, but it could also be libel. If you\u2019re not sure about something, don\u2019t post it<\/li>\n<li>Alienate yourself: unless you run a political or religious business, stay away from these subjects, and other controversial topics.
