LinkedIn Advert Types<\/span><\/h3>\n

Like Twitter & Facebook, with LinkedIn you have the choice to create either an Ad or a Sponsored Update.<\/p>\n

An ad<\/strong> is like your standard banner advertisement: it contains a picture and not much text, placed on the side of the screen.<\/p>\n

Here is what the ad would look like in users’ news feeds. They will show up in the right column of the homepage.<\/p>\n

There are 2 types of sponsored updates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Direct sponsored content<\/strong> is a post that shows in users’ news feeds that doesn’t go on your own page. A standard post<\/strong> is a post on your own LinkedIn page that is ‘boosted’ with a budget and can also show up in users’s feeds.<\/p>\n

With sponsored content you can use \u00a0tracking code to inform you as to which led are coming from paid channels, go deep into targeting audiences, and test out several different adverts to which which one performs best and has the best ROI.<\/p>\n
