How it started...
We’ve been working with Calserv for several years. Our paths first crossed when they needed a fresh look for their website, and that’s where it all began.
Since then, we’ve designed and built a fair few different versions for them — each one a little step forward in how they show themselves online. It’s been less about a one-off job and more about growing with them, figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and keeping things moving.
Calserv themselves are well known in Rugby, Warwickshire, as a go-to name for surveying and safety equipment. They take a lot of pride in what they do, and from the start we wanted their website to reflect that — professional, but still easy to use and straightforward for their customers. Those first projects gave us a good feel for their business and set the tone for everything we’ve done since.
The journey so far...
Since those first designs, the work’s kept moving. Calserv needed something more flexible, so we rebuilt the site utilising the Drupal framework. That gave them a content management system they could use day-to-day without everything having to come back through us.
The new website meant they could show off product sheets, highlight individual items, and still have space for promos when they needed it. It pulled everything into one place and made it a lot easier for their customers to find what they were after.
We’ve also helped behind the scenes, hosting and managing their email through Microsoft 365. It keeps the business running smoothly, and that’s just as important as what people see on the website.
Since then, we’ve stayed close. Looking after the site. Tweaking things when they need changing. Making sure everything carries on working the way it should. It’s been about building trust as much as building websites.
