How it started...
RGT Engineering has been a client of Give the Dog a Bone for many years, although the business itself goes back much further. Founded in 1970 by blacksmith Reg Hill, the company has grown from its traditional roots into the engineering business it is today.
The website they had at the time allowed content to be updated, but as the company grew it became obvious that it was beginning to show its age. Rather than just replacing the website, we took the opportunity to redesign the company logo as well, giving RGT a more modern identity before carrying that through the rest of the website.
The journey so far...
One of the biggest priorities was making sure the team could look after the website themselves. New pages, news articles and updates could all be managed in-house, without having to send every small change back to us.
That relationship has continued ever since. We still help whenever something new comes up, whether that's additional development, advice or updates behind the scenes. More recently, we upgraded the website to Drupal 11 through our hosting package so everything is running on the latest version of Drupal.
